This project is located in Encino, California. It is a residential home for a big family. The client wanted to have a large island as a center piece of attention. Main finish of cabinetry is matte grey (Grigio Londra), the accessory finish is wood laminate ( Rodin Olmo ). By making the island entirely in accessory finish, adding vintage pendant lighting above it and covering it with a 3 inch thick slab of (unique calacatta quartz), we bring the attention to the island.
